Hello to my soon-to-be Squad Mummas!
Congratulations on your pregnancy! Whether it’s your first, second, or fifth journey, each one is special and unique to you.
We will provide some advice on how to best support your health and wellness throughout each stage of your pregnancy in this blog post. So, let’s get started!
Initial Trimester (Weeks 0-13) Your body is undergoing many changes. Your energy levels may be low, your hormones are shifting, and morning sickness could be present. Resting when you can is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Watch a movie, snooze, or go for a stroll. Being pregnant requires a lot of labour, so it’s important to pay attention to your body and take pauses as needed.
Also, don’t be scared to delegate some of your daily tasks. If you just ask, you might be pleasantly surprised by how encouraging your loved ones can be, and never forget how important it is to find the correct support for your pregnancy. Ask for assistance when you need it from a reliable friend, relative, or allied health professional.
Trimester two (Weeks 14-27) During this trimester, many mothers experience a slight increase in comfort. You might be feeling less nauseous now, have more energy, and can finally tell everyone the happy news!
You may be feeling more inspired to approach your workouts with newfound passion thanks to better sleep and energy. But remember to speak with your obstetrician or midwife before beginning any new exercises. It can be challenging to control your urges at this time. Always pay attention to your serving sizes, listen to your body, and don’t hesitate to ask your health coach or midwife for guidance.
Finally, during this trimester, encourage both your physical and mental changes. Join a mothers community and share in the joy of this amazing journey.
Trimester three (Weeks 28-40) It might be challenging as we approach the finish line. Swollen feet, uncomfortable sleeping positions, and a growing baby can make things challenging.
We suggest, in whichever manner you can, to try to relax. Put on the air conditioning, grab an extra cushion, and relax. Take a moment for yourself every now and then to remind yourself that you are gorgeous just the way you are.
It’sIt’s also crucial to reduce your exercise intensity at this time. Concentrate on functional motions, stretching, and alignment as you prepare to give birth. Also, remember to pack your hospital bag two weeks in advance. We promise you don’t want to be scrambling at the last minute!
We hope these tips have been helpful, Boss Babes. Remember, every journey is unique, and it’s important to listen to your body and do what feels best for you. And if you ever need support, we’re here for you – that’s what the Boss Squad is all about!
